COLIN COWAN's high energy and cynically optimistic sets can include anything from family, parenthood, relationships, age, dumb jokes, obscure observations, adolescent memories, crowd work, to Canadian lore, American politics, and 20th century deep cut Hollywood impressions. Some past credits include Just For Laughs, NBC's Trial & Error, The Second City, CBC's This Is That, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Hubcap Comedy Festival, & Yuk Yuk’s On Tour. An avid shape-shifter, he can be found performing standup comedy and obscure-character comedy regularly onstage at clubs & revues around Vancouver when he is not on the road. Colin is the founder & owner of Vancouver's renowned comedy venue China Cloud Studios (est.2009). His debut comedy special 'Live to Tape' (2024) is available to watch for free on YouTube and to listen on all major platforms. Colin also co-produced Jacob Samuel’s upcoming 2025 Comedy Special ‘Big Talk'
