Discothèque Vol. 13 - Big Zen, Innezz & Víctor José

We’re elated to finally kick-off our upcoming summer event series with an evening of groove-focused dance music, spearheaded by an extended set from the one and only, Big Zen.

Join us as we take a deep dive into the complex world of sound, with a triple-threat lineup delivering all-out club pressure and release through slamming grooves all night long.

Lineup: @jamieenns (3hr set) Big Zen is one of the best DJs around - period. The Vancouver underground legend crafts blissfully transformative journeys through a classy mix of groove-laden techno and dynamic house, fusing lush progressive elements and rare records to create deeply emotive, far-reaching sets that effortlessly lean into peak-time party euphoria and send dancefloors into a frenzy.

Releases on Kalahari Oyster Cult, Mood Hut, Planet Euphorique, and DustWORLD speak to his phenomenal talent and music taste. 1/2 of Killer DJs, has been an integral part of Vancouver’s Cool Underground Music (C.U.M.) collective, and most recently is helming his own label, Promise. A level of calibre that helps define a city’s underground - essential listening, always.

@innenezza Deep, hypnotic, sonic exploration adjacent to the psychedelic side of dance music from the label owner of Azul Records and Bside Radio resident. Sleek minimal and dubwise selections that traverse through a tantalizing, intricate soundscape of hazy yet bright techno and driving rhythms.

@victorjoseig The Discothèque mainstay delivers deep house cuts, soulful and funky 4/4 and refined flashes of techno with lots of swing and groove.
