Design Victoria Launch Party

Design Victoria’s Launch Party, produced in collaboration with Villeneuve Creative and sponsored by Vista Point brings together the top names in the design industry.

As a guest of the party, you’ll receive free premium drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic); live DJs and full sound system; custom design and art installations that light up the night.

The city's top mixologists from Clive's Classic Lounge, Marilena Cafe and Wind Cries Mary will be concocting craft cocktails unique to each bar.

The party will feature 6 designer bars including:

• Robert Blaney Design's bar, dubbed "the nest" will be illuminated with a contemporary custom light feature by Above90.
• A collaboration between Mike Randall & Atelier Dimopoulos, this bar will be made of upcycled materials
• Toolpath Design and Steveston Creative will gamify their bar with a collaborative three-player challenge
• A whimsical landscape feature will greet you on entry, by Jennifer Sleigh Garden Design and Cedar & Soil
• Interior Designer Yanna King is collaborating with Maxwell Fabrics, Ffabb and Salari Fine Carpets to create the perfect backdrops
• Mark Ollinger Studio will bring his bar to life with a surrounding sculpture gallery
• dHKarchitects will design a deconstructable DJ booth
• Washashore Carpentry and Bjorn Reider’s bar will evoke an old-growth forest

VIP guests will be treated to the following:

• Enjoy the privilege of VIP treatment with a signature Black and White Hudson Wren portrait
• Feast on a chef collaboration made for Design Victoria by Rudi restaurant 
• A signature VIP cocktail pour awaits you
• Valley Commons premium wine and bubbles by Stoneboat Vineyards
• Makers Mark mixologist Micah Dew will be serving custom drinks while creating dipped-wax glasses as a party souvenir
• Two tickets to Design Victoria’s screening of Soviet Bus Stops
