ALEX in WONDERLAND x Vancouver Fashion Week

We are delighted to invite you to "ALEX in WONDERLAND," a special event in collaboration with Vancouver Fashion Week SS2025 on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, celebrating the tenth anniversary of ALEX S. YU with Vancouver Fashion Week. The tenth-anniversary collection, Prologue 3688, draw inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale, "Alice in Wonderland," and the nostalgia of childhood daydreams, will feature 50 runway looks that showcase ALEX S. YU’s journey through a rose-tinted, East-meets-West cultural canvas that defines his design ethos.

The evening will present a diverse array of local and international designers associated with and mentored by ALEX S. YU. Taiwanese-Canadian Lexi Chang’s Hazi Haus will open the event, followed by White Rock-based Emma Ireland Designs and Mia Hanaoka’s Unhindered Studio from Osaka, Japan. The second segment will feature Iranian-Canadian Bahar Kianpour, concluding with Chiliwack-based Bree Laryea’s BREEFORD. Closing out the evening will be ALEX S. YU’s tenth anniversary collection - PROLOGUE 3688.

Enjoy a dynamic lineup of performances by local Vancouver artists, including Sade Awele, ASAP Dance, Mauvey, and NADUH. A curated selection of food and beverages, generously sponsored by local Vancouver businesses, will be available throughout the evening. Each ticket purchase includes an exclusive limited-edition tote bag filled with goodies from our designers and sponsors. Additionally, a pop-up shop offering exclusive event merchandise will be open during the event.
