COMEDY WORLD: a pro standup show

COMEDY WORLD is a Pro Standup Show every second and fourth Friday of the month at the legendary China Cloud Studios. Hosted by lifelong comedian Colin Cowan (Just For Laughs, NBC's Trial & Error, CBC's This Is That, The Second City, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and more...) this show features a roster of pro comedians who perform between 8pm-9:30pm. Online tickets are $22.00 and sell quick, but there are usually a few tickets available at the door as well for $25.00.

Featuring Headliner AMBER HARPER-YOUNG || With her fearless crowd work, quick wit and natural charm, Amber is one of the most sought-after hosts and has toured nationally and internationally with her act. Her performing highlights include: Just for Laughs NorthWest (Vancouver), The Comics Lounge (Melbourne, Australia), The Del Close Marathon (NYC), and more recently, YYC Comedy Festival (Calgary), Smash Comedy Fest (Vancouver) and the Tall Tree Festival (Port Renfrew). Amber has had the honor of opening for Canadian comedy legend Mike MacDonald (Just for Laughs) on multiple occasions, as well as Darrin Rose (Match Game, CBC's Mr. D), Brent Weinbach (Comedy Central, Conan) and David Huntsberger (Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central).
