5 Days For the Homeless

Join us for 5 Days for the Homeless, a nationwide initiative organized by students to raise money and awareness for those at risk of homelessness. This year, we’re supporting Our Place Society, a community organization in Greater Victoria that provides essential services like meals, housing, healthcare, addiction recovery, and job skills to vulnerable individuals.

From March 18th-22nd, we’ve organized a series of fun events to raise funds for this important cause:

• Tuesday, March 18th: Trivia Tuesday at Swans Pub (7:00-10:00pm). Enjoy appetizers, compete for prizes, and support the cause! 19+ event.
• Wednesday, March 19th: Glow-in-the-dark Yoga at CARSA (3:00-4:00pm). Wear bright clothes, bring glow sticks, and enjoy a fun yoga session.
• Thursday, March 20th: Panic at the Disco Club Night at Paparazzi (9:00pm). A 70s/80s disco theme party. 19+ event.
• Friday, March 21st: Charity Polar Dip at Caddy Bay (1:30pm). Take a chilly dip for charity! Hot chocolate and snacks will be available.
• Saturday, March 22nd: Closing Ceremony at Grad House (1:00-3:30pm). Celebrate the week’s events, thank our sponsors, and enjoy a presentation from Our Place Society. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks provided.

There will also be a silent auction and a GoFundMe campaign throughout the week. All students are welcome to participate!
